An Amuse-Bouche

The homeowners wanted to embrace a more modern spin on their home but wanted their antique hutch, a beloved family heirloom, to fit comfortably in the reimagined space. Designer Mark Gillies, of Mari Woods KBH, kept this in mind when he hand-finished the steel table and selected the tone of the patinated lights. These elements function as transitional objects, bridging the old and the new, and create the perfect place to welcome friends for a drink, some snacks, and a moment to admire the stunning view before going out to enjoy Ogunquit's lively restaurant scene.
